Exploration and mining equipmen
- Drilling equipment: In the process of oil drilling, the seals used at the drill pipe joints mainly include rubber seals, metal seals, etc., which can prevent leakage of drilling fluid, ensure the normal circulation of drilling fluid in the drill pipe, and improve drilling efficiency. Blowout preventers are key equipment to prevent blowouts. Their seals, such as gate seals and annular seals, can quickly seal the wellhead when the wellhead pressure is abnormal, prevent oil and natural gas from gushing out, and avoid major safety accidents.
- Oil extraction equipment: The oil pump is one of the core equipment for oil extraction. The seal between the plunger and the pump barrel is usually made of wear-resistant and oil-resistant rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene materials to ensure the pumping efficiency of the pump and prevent crude oil leakage. The tubing head and casing head seals in the wellhead device, such as metal gaskets and O-rings, can seal the annular space between the tubing and casing to prevent crude oil and natural gas from leaking from the wellhead, ensuring the safety and stability of oil extraction operations.
Oil pipeline
Pipeline connection: Oil pipelines are usually connected by flanges and threads. Sealing gaskets are essential seals at these connections. Metal spiral wound gaskets, asbestos rubber gaskets, etc. can form a reliable seal at the pipeline connection to prevent oil leakage. For some high-pressure and large-diameter pipelines, expansion joints are also used to compensate for the expansion and contraction deformation of the pipeline caused by temperature changes, pressure fluctuations, etc., while ensuring the sealing of the pipeline.
Pump station equipment: The oil pump is a key equipment in the oil pump station, and its mechanical seal is an important component to ensure the normal operation of the pump. The mechanical seal forms a sealing surface through the close fit of the dynamic ring and the static ring to prevent crude oil leakage. Oil seals and other seals are also used in the bearing parts of the pump to prevent lubricating oil leakage and prevent foreign impurities from entering the bearing to ensure the normal operation of the bearing.
Oil processing equipment
Oil refining equipment: Various seals are widely used in the inlet and outlet pipes, manholes, hand holes and other parts of equipment such as distillation towers and reactors. For example, graphite composite gaskets and polytetrafluoroethylene gaskets can ensure the sealing of the equipment, prevent material leakage and air ingress, and ensure the normal progress of the oil refining process. In rotating equipment such as compressors and pumps, seals such as labyrinth seals and dry gas seals can effectively seal gases or liquids, prevent medium leakage, and improve the efficiency and safety of the equipment.
Chemical unit equipment: In petrochemical production, equipment such as polymerization kettles and reactors have extremely high requirements for sealing. Magnetic sealing is a commonly used sealing method. It uses the principle of magnetic coupling to achieve contactless sealing, avoiding the leakage problem that may occur in traditional mechanical seals. It is particularly suitable for highly corrosive, flammable and explosive chemical media. In some fine chemical production equipment, lip seals, diaphragm seals, etc. are also used to meet the sealing requirements under different process conditions.
